Should guys shave their legs?

My girlfriend and some of her friends want me to shave my legs. Yet, none of my friends or associates have a problem with hairy legs. She says guys from up north shave their legs. I personally ( and many others ) think that's gay, literally. I still like her, but now it's an everyday thing. All I hear from her now is, "Shave your legs already," 24/7. She's starting to become a nuisance, and we JUST started going out last week.
